Director Milan Luthria has bought the remix rights of the song Nakka Mukka, composed by Vijay Antony for the 2008 Tamil film Kadhalil Vizunthen, which will be used as Vidya Balan‘s theme track and played at several instances in the background for the film The Dirty Picture.
Since the film based on the life of Silk Smitha, the Tamil song is being used to give the South feel to the central character. This film is also being released simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.
The film stars Naseeruddin Shah and Emraan Hashmi and produced by Ekta Kapoor under her banner Balaji Films Production.
The Tamil song Nakka Mukka is so popular that it was played at the inaugural matches of both ODI Cricket World Cup and IPL 2011.
